Windows 10: one drive filling up my trash folder

Discus and support one drive filling up my trash folder in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I seen users with this problem a couple of years back but this is happening to me now and I have found no solutions....     I seen users with this problem a couple of years back but this is happening to me now and I have found no solutions.

    I have done that with no effect. even as I am typing now my trash folder is filling up it has now stopped at 5092 files,

    I could delete them and the process will start all over again.

    I have been in touch with onedrive but they do not have a clue saying ti is an apple problem.

    Hi, I am running a Mac computer, in the last couple of weeks my trash folder keeps filling up with onedrive files that have been deleted. no sooner do I delete them that are back again.

    As I said the files originate from OneDrive as when I click on them they open on the OneDrive web page but the open file just informs me that the file:-

    This item might not exist or is no longer available

    This item might have been deleted, expired or you might not have permission to view it. Contact the owner of this item for more information.

    since then I have deleted the account first of all removing all files from the account.

    Can someone please, explain in plain English why this is happening.
