One drive notified me that game folder had no permissions and wasn't syncing. Followed troubleshooter directions and I found the folder but I don't know how to put permissions back. I think I deleted it when i was cleaning out old downloads.

  2. Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

  4. One drive isn't syncing one folder; no permissions. followed directions but don't know how...

“You don`t currently have permission to access this folder"

Click Start > File Explorer > This PC

Right-click on your External Drive, and choose Properties.

    Go to Security tab.

    Click Advanced, then Change Permissions.

Highlight the user, and click Edit.

Choose This folder, subfolders and files under Applies to:.

Choose Full Control under Basic Permissions.

    Hit OK.

    OR

    Reset the drive permission:

Do this from the command line:

    Open Start, type: CMD

    Right click CMD

    Click Run as administrator

Type in at the prompt OR Copy and Paste these one at a time : (Hit enter after each)

    TAKEOWN /F D:\ /R /D Y

Once you have taken ownership, then you have to set the permissions; for this, you use ICACLS:

    ICACLS "D:\" /reset /T

Note: D:\ would represent the name of your drive.
