  1. one drive keeps showing up as a file path when I save even though app is uninstalled

I do not want to even see onedrive on my pc. windows 11. app uninstalled. system set to save to my pc NOT onedrive.I have done everything I possibly can to get rid of this darn thing and EVERY TIME I TRY TO SAVE ANYTHING it keeps popping up as the save path.I have even resorted to storing everything on flash drives - which is a nuisance and an extra step. Can SOMEONE give me an answer that works and STAYS as the default even with MS Updates?Thank you!

    :)

  2. Windows 10 app saving to drives

    Hi,

Welcome to Microsoft Community and we appreciate your interest in Windows 10.

Let me help you to fix the issue.

Let’s try simple steps and check if this helps. Since move option is greyed out, I would suggest you to un-install and reinstall the game and check. Follow the below steps.

    • Go to Settings and select System.

    • Click on App & Features, click on game and uninstall the game.

    • Now click on Storage and select a drive on
      New apps will save to.

    • Try re-installing the game again and check.
Hope this helps. Keep posting us with the status we will be glad to help you.

  3. File History saves and shows empty folders

    Hi Jeffrey,

I recommend you to select a different File History drive and check if the issue persists.

Also I suggest you to Change how long File History keeps files.

    Refer the below steps

    1. Press Windows key + X from the Keyboard and click on Control panel.

    2. Control panel Window will be open, change the View by: Category to Large icons to Small icons.

    3. Click on File history and click on Advanced settings.

    4. Next to Save copies of files, tap or click the list, and choose a time interval.

    5. Next to Keep saved versions, tap or click the list, and choose a time interval.

    6.Click on Save changes

    Note:
File History doesn't automatically delete versions of files older than the time interval you choose unless your drive is getting full and space is needed to back up more recent versions

Also, I suggest to Reconnect the drive and Reselect your File History drive

Refer the below link and check if helps

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...f3eda7c5b2b/reconnect-your-file-history-drive

Hope the above information was helpful. If you need further assistance, we will be glad to assist you.
