Windows 10: One Drive Not Allowing Sign in via Link, via Email & Browser Work.

I keep receiving this error when trying to add a provided link from my boss to my one drive via the browser portal. What is causing this the file has been shared with me and i have edit permissions. This causes a large amount of headache and i would love to know how to fix this to make the one drive experience easier to use. I have attached the error message below.Let me know your thoughts. Thanks to bro67...Interestingly enough the Gmail link to this forum reply actually worked, as did your link to "How to Fix....." I tried steps 1 and 2 without success. Step 3 gave me the following screen, which didn't look like the article described. At any rate, the probem is unchanged...screenshot follows.

 

My sign-in email is inextricably linked to the wrong account.

Then enter the AOL details
they will send a verification email to your nominated security check - email address or whatever you set up as a security check
When you have passed that proceed and choose as shown on the microsoft link
If you want to use an existing email address or phone number, go to step 6.
Under Sign-in preferences, select Change sign-in preferences.
