Windows 10: One Drive question about data files

OneDrive has always baffled me a bit. At one time it was so intrusive I deleted it.I would, however, like to like to put my Microsoft Money data file on it and be able to run Money using that cloud data file so I don't have to keep updating the data file on both my computers.Is there a way to do that or is OneDrive pretty much a "backup" system like Google Drive?

I'd recommend you to try using a different USB cable with it and see if that will help your system to detect it without it disconnecting.
I'd also suggest you to go to Disk Management and see how the drive is listed there. It won't hurt to check up on the health and SMART status of the HDD by running the QUICK and EXTENDED tests from the WD's Data LifeGuard Diagnostics.
