Windows 10: One Drive - Redirect OneDrive to Drive D, rather than the default of C:

Most NEW Computers have the root drive as an SSD for C: How can I redirect the OneDrive files to synch to D, which is much larger than C :?

HOW DO I MOVE THE OneDrive default from the C:\ DRIVE to a different drive

Due to the way the hard drive was partitioned, OneDrive consumes nearly all of the C: drive. How can I move the default OneDrive folder to the little-used D: drive?

 

Sync D Drive with OneDrive

I am using OneDrive to sync my files on my C drive and all is working fine. But I can not find a way to have my D drive connect to OneDrive. I would like my D drive to sync with OneDrive. Does anyone know how to get a D Drive to sync with OneDrive?

 

Trouble moving default folder locations from OneDrive to C drive

Hi there, brand new laptop with Windows 10 automatically set OneDrive as default location for my user profile and documents.

Unlinked PC from OneDrive, and most of my default folders now point to C drive, but Documents and Pictures still point to OneDrive.

Have tried moving these by right-clicking on them, going to Properties > Location > Move and selecting the equivalent folder on C drive (ie. Windows\Users\me\Documents).

It asks me if I want to move all the files from the old (OneDrive) to the new (C drive) location, but when I click Yes, I get an error message: "Can't move the folder because there is a folder in the same location that can't be redirected. Access is denied."

Please advise how to change the default location so Documents and Pictures are pointing to C drive.
