Windows 10: One Drive Removed my files from my PC

I confirmed all my files were downloaded to my PC before I deleted One Drive. One drive deleted all my files which is all my work for years on my computer. Now they will not restore. I never gave permission for one drive to move my files to the cloud, sync my files with the cloud or delete my files on my PC. In fact, I completely verified everything was on my hard drive. I deleted One Drive. I installed a product key for microsoft so I no longer used 365. My computer showed all my files. Then my computer did a restart. Everything is gone. No where did One Drive state this could happen nor prov

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Recover from drive - just remove my files. Does it delete data from c drive only or all the drives/partitions?

i am trying to recover from USB drive. I selected option "Just remove my files" and then i see screen with following text

• All personal files and user account on your PC will be removed.
• Any apps and programs that didn't come with your PC will be removed.
• Windows will be re-installed from the recovery drive connected to your PC.
• If you've repartitioned your system drive, this will restore its default partitions.

What is the meaning of 4th point? is it going to delete all my other partitions like d,e,f ? or it will just quick format my c drive and install windows on it

how to copy files from the CD to the Computer drive

I would suggest you to follow the steps below:

  Press Windows key + X.
  
• 
  Click file explorer from the list.
  
• 
  Select the CD/DVD drive and hit Enter.
  
• 
  Select the files you want to copy from the CD/DVD, then select the drive where you want to paste or save.
