Windows 10: One Drive syncing slowly

Hi,


I've been having an annoying glitch on my OneDrive and wonder if there's a solution.


I have One Drive on a Windows 10 desktop and laptop. The files are set to sync between the two devices and, eventually, they do sync. However, recently, I've discovered that it is taking literally hours for files to sync from one device to the other. They DO eventually sync, so I know that One Drive is working. However, one of the key features of One Drive is, obviously, automatic syncing of files and, obviously, if it takes hours to sync a file between the devices that's not acceptable! I can simply use Google Drive which IS instantaneous!


Any advice apart from restarting the PC, and/or restarting One Drive folder on my desktop, both of which I've done?

Things to do once connected new G-Sync monitor

I'm getting my G-Sync monitor today.

I think I have to take the following steps:

• Connect 1440p G-sync monitor with DP cable
• Connect second 1080p 60Hz monitor by HDMI
• Startup PC
• Reinstall display driver
• Restart PC (I always do that after display driver install)
• Activate G-Sync in NV control panel (I believe also V-Sync is auto on after that?)
• Set my 1440p monitor from 1080p to 1440p
• Calibrate my 1440p monitor

Also ingame, I should turn off V-Sync?
Are there any problems running a second 60Hz 1080p monitor?

Is there anything else I should do/know?

Corrupted files may be the possible cause reason why files/folders were not syncing. To efficiently assist you, we'd like to gather more information:

• Could you tell us if you've made any recent changes prior to this issue?
• Are you getting any error messages when you tried to sync a file/folder?
• Which version of Office are you using?
