    One Drive Takeover


    Hello,

    One Drive has totally taken over my laptop. if I unlink or remove one drive in any way my files disappear with it. I would like to keep my One drive totally separate from my pc. no links, no backup. I will save or back up anything that I think needs to be saved. How can I do this?

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Hi Mohd,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    I suggest you to check if Notification setting for One Drive Is turned on. Follow the steps below.

    • Click on Start button and Select Settings.
    • Select System and Click on Notification and Actions.
    • Click on Select which icon to appear on taskbar.
    • Turn on the notification for One Drive.
