  1. One file mysteriously disappeared

I had a file of beautiful paintings I've downloaded from various sites. Two nights ago, I logged on and saw that it was gone - it was pinned to Quick Access and it's very strange. Does anyone have any suggestions, thoughts or ideas - though I looked in File Explorer and nothing showed, I can't help but feel that that file is still here someplace - apart from this strange incident, my computer is running fine and I've had no problems at all.

    Please help - thank you.

    Jonathan

PS. I am having a senior moment and can't remember how to start a new file - but that information is easily tracked. Thanks to all in advance. :

    :)

I suggest you use a file/folder mapper. It'll scan your entire disk and visually show you files and folders that are occupying the most of your disk. This way you can pinpoint what's causing it by knowing where exactly these files (or data) is accumulating...

    Picture folders mysteriously disappearing

I'm having a problem with folders in my picture files. I have one called "Art" which disappeared and I couuldn't find it anywhere. I tried file explorer to no avail. I replaced the Arts folder with an identical folder from my desktop and then suddenly a folder call "Home and Garden" disappeared. Any suggestions re how to locate these missing folders?
