Windows 10: one key will not work.

Hi, I was wondering if anybody would be able to help me with my specific key not working? All the drivers are up to date and I've taken a look at the key physically, and the mechanisms all work just as they should. By the hardware logic, I should just clean/ fix the physical key, by the physical keyboard logic, it's a hardware problem and I should just reinstall the drivers. I've done those steps so it would be appreciative if I was told not to do that. I also tried the on-screen keyboard and the same letter did not work there either. (my o key is not working, I have that letter copypasted) Is there any solution other than "get a new laptop" that I can try?

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Follow the steps below to open On-screen Keyboard.

Step 2: Run Hardware and device Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your devices. Refer these steps:

  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.

1215N function keys not working?

Doesn't list it for the 1215N *Frown

Funny part all the keys work out of the box with Linux Mint, go figure.

Tried the one on softpedia, doesn't seem to work.

Any other model that I can take it from?
