Windows 10: One note for windows10 + surface pen crashes my laptop.

Hello, i am using the free version of OneNote for windows 10 with the windows surface pen for taking note on my hp envy 2-1 laptop with a ryzen 5 , vega8 and 20 gb of ram. Recently i have been having a problem and i can't seem to find any online blog post that describe my problemor offer solution. Randomly when i start writing in Onenote it will cause my entire computer to crash: - the entire computer freezes, i can't write with the pen, I can't type on the keyboard and i can't click on anything.

-the mouse will at first still be moving but thats the only non frozen thing. Slowly it will start moving in a more cluncky way and eventually freeze too.

-The only to way to get out of this are to press ctrl+alt+delete and wait a few minutes for the menu to pop, ask for the task manager and then everything starts working perfectly again until this happens again. This solution works 90% of the time.

If this solution doesn't work i have to force restart the computer by pressing the power button for 10 seconds.

-it's not a program is not responding.

-i dont get any error message or warning.

-it has been happening more and more frequently.

Surface Pen

Hi,

I bought a pen for my Surface Go ( Surface go Pen for Microsoft Classroom)

and I want to use it with One Note 2016 but it makes the app crash. I use Windows home and I installed the office later. I tried to disable the graphic acceleration in the One Note settings because I've seen that was a reply for
a similar problem.

Any idea how can I use the pen in One Note?
