Windows 10: One of my devices bluetooth headphones audio completely breaks whenever playing audio other...

I have 450BT wireless headphones I use, for whatever reason whenever I am playing audio other than spotify it completely breaks my volume control slider works but does not actually change the volume of the sound coming out of my headphones. I have tried another audio device and it has worked fine on both spotify and other applications. I have tried uninstalling all bluetooth drivers, all audio drivers, using driver easy to update drivers. I'm at a lost of words I'm so confused. But to add to the confusion, when I have using opera gx opening a new tab which plays a sound doesn't break the

No audio through connected Bluetooth device

I am having problems playing audio from my Windows PC through my Bose Bose AE2 Bluetooth headphones.

1) I have previously connected to these headphones without any issues. The audio was fine

2) at some point, the audio started experiencing distortions and disconnects

3) I can now no longer play any audio through the headphones from the PC

In the Bluetooth and other device settings menu, my headphones are connected. I have also tried un-pairing and re-pairing the device several times. The device manager recognizes the headphones in the bluetooth dropdown menut. In the Sound settings on Windows, my headphones are listed as a playback device, but are listed as disconnected and cannot be connected from that menu. Note: this is different from the bluetooth and other devices menu, which says that I AM connected.

My windows drivers are up to date, I have updated my headphones to the latest drivers as well. My headphones connect without issue to other devices (laptop and cell phone both). I feel as though I have taken all the basic troubleshooting steps and am not getting anywhere.

When connecting headphones to Windows 10 the first time, they are not added as an audio device and appear under Other Devices. Headphones do not appear as an option in the Sound control panel. Going into Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers
and enabling all Bluetooth Services in the Properties of the Headphones in the Unspecified section makes them appear as an audio device.

Audio played through headphones (Chrome, Groove, iTunes) is choppy, intermittent, and distorted. There are popping or crackling sounds when audio is playing and when it isn't. Audio plays perfectly fine when connected to Pixel phone or Mac. No such issues on
those devices.

Steps take to resolve:

Set as default device

Disabled all background services

Rebooted / reset headphones

Cleared bluetooth device list from headphones

Removed headphones from bluetooth list of all devices

Unpaired and re-paired, only to PC

Restarted PC

Updated PC

Updated headphones

Ran Windows control panel troubleshooters





Is there any way to fix this problem?

 

Bluetooth device connected but not recognised as audio device W10

I recently purchased some bluetooth headphones (GLITOBT18). I managed to connect them to my laptop running windows 10.




However, i cant find the device in the playback settings and i therefore cant play audio through the headphones.





I think this may have something to do with the fact that windows is recognising it as a bluetooth headset rather than a speaker? Any help would be massively appreciated!
