Windows 10: One of my gateway laptops with windows one day just turned off without notice and won't...

My gateway laptop one day turned off and won't turn back on and I am charging it and trying to turn it on it just has a blank screen can I know why this happened and how to fix it.

Yesterday was reading on it. All of a sudden turned off and now it won´t turn on

I'm typing a letter in word, it was fine then started using all caps it won t turn them the usual way

 

reloading windows in gateway laptop

A friend of mine had the same problem with his gateway laptop. Gateway didn't supply him with an original windows CD and instead forced him to burn a copy from a partition on his hard drive. It turned out that the CD he had burned was corrupt and that was what was causing the failed install. He got a new copy from bestbuy and that allowed him to install windows without any problems.

So is your CD an original windows CD or is it a recovery CD burned from a partition on your hard drive?
