Windows 10: One of my laptops that runs on Windows XP MCE has a Decoder Error

The DVD works on my other laptop. It is a Dell XPS M140. Does anyone know how to fix the Decoder Error for Media Center?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Windows Xp MCE upgrade

Hey guys i was just wondering: i have xp pro installed and i also have a copy of media center edition (which, i believe, the cd1=xp and cd2 just adds mce). If i do an upgrade install, will that mess up my registry (in other words will i have to format my hard drives or reinstall all my programs)?

 

MCE no longer list current guide listings

Starting on around 7/20/15 MCE guild listing shows "No data available" for most channels. Other post list to try to change your zip code. Get same listing! Reset MCE - Same listing. Tried "Get Latest Guild listings" - same listing, although the "End Date"
for the current listing does change to about 2 weeks out.

The listings are still coming from Zap2it when I have read several posting saying Microsoft has change there provider to Rovi but there is no option in MCE to change this.

Of the channels that do get listing there the old ball channels, None of the network channels have listings. I'm set up to use over the air (Digital Antenna (ASTC/Digital Antenna ATSC) for receiving TV)
