    One of my programs loads but never opens. What can I do to fix that?


    Hello!

    I have recently installed a program .exe called MC Toolchest PE via Chrome <Link Removed> and it just doesn't want to open. It does load, because the blue circle next to cursor turns, but it just never opens. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and it doesn't want to work. The app requires C++ 2015 runtime, which I had already installed. It used to work maybe a year back in time. I tried compatibility mode, and nothing again.

    I did success a couple times to open it. The way I can make is work is restart my laptop and then open the app as fast as I can, and for some reason, it does open and I have absolutely no idea why.

    So I'm asking to all of you If you have an idea on the problem or on what I could do to fix the problem.


    Some other users also seems to experience the same problem.

    Programs not working

    In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
    Are you able to follow them?
    In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

    "Open With" context Menu slow to load


    Hi all,

    so when i right click on the file and point to the "open with" menu, it should show the list of programs that the file could be opened. Every time after a restart the "open with" menu would take like 3 seconds to load, and after that first load, it would show the list right away. This not only happens when i restart my pc, but also when I haven't opened a file with the "open with" menu for like 1 or 2 hours and it will lag for like 3 seconds again for it to show the list of programs that it could be opened with.

    I've already tried programs like Autoruns, ShellExView and disabling those context menu would now help either. Also, I deleted the unnecessary programs from the open with list through the registry already and it still doesn't help.

    Any Suggestions?

    Get a Program to load immediately on Startup, + get it to auto-open

    When I start up the computer, various programs load ready to be opened. (These are listed in the startup folder). Always I want to look first at any new emails. I would like my mail program (Mail) to load as fast as possible and before others are loaded so that I can immediately open it while other programs are being loaded. I would also like to get Mail to open automatically ready to use.

    How can I get Mail to load quickly? and

    How can I get it to open automatically and immediately?
