    One Of My Win10 OS's - Title Bar of Windows Is Suddenly Purple, Why?


    I have not selected that colour for anything that I can tell, preferring sandy or earthy colours for borders.
    Am using Aerolite Theme with my own wallpaper. The other 10's are all behaving and I'm wondering what the heck I did to cause this.
    Ideas anyone?

    Start Menu stops working on Windows 10

    Old title: Window 10 task bar malfunction

    When I click on the Windows icon at far left end of task bar nothing happens. My start menu will not open. When passing the cursor over the windows icon, the icon color changes from white to a light purple. How can I correct this issue?

    Change color of Title Bar

    You are using the 10240 (RTM) version of Windows 10 and do not have the Fall update (10586) yet. Until your system is updated with that, you won't have this option. The Fall update is being slowly rolled out around the world.

    One Of My Win10 OS's - Title Bar of Windows Is Suddenly Purple, Why?

    The only time that I am aware that Windows randomly changes the accent colour is if you have "Automatically pick an accent colour from my background" turned on in Settings.

    I wonder if a recent update has turned this on and you had not noticed?

    May be that as I certainly don't have the first turned on. I'll investigate further. I'm beginning to find 10 is a real chore to keep looking "nice".

    I've pinned it down to Windows not displaying Accent Colors correctly. If I choose any of the greys then all sides of the square are the same, but if I pick a proper color then the top title bar goes purple whilst the rest are correctly displayed.
    Now to figure out how to fix it....possibly will have to do an sfc/ scannow or similar.
