Windows 10: One PC does not see the other in Network, whereas the second PC can see both

Discus and support One PC does not see the other in Network, whereas the second PC can see both in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; i have a laptop + desktop both running up to date win10 64 bit 2004 version i have just discovered that my laptop can see itself AND the Desktop...     One PC does not see the other in Network, whereas the second PC can see both


    i have a laptop + desktop both running up to date win10 64 bit 2004 version


    i have just discovered that my laptop can see itself AND the Desktop under Network. However my Desktop can ONLY sees itself and NOT the laptop.


    i have turned ON network discovery on both machines and so dont know why the desktop cant see the laptop. I can even transfer files from the laptop to the desktop via the network


    any ideas?

    I am very grateful for your help

    1 was not enabled. I enabled it and restarted the HT-PC, but now the HT-PC is not visible in Network list on any computer.

    ...then i run 2 and both was true.

    Next step?

    Network PC Win10 1903 issue Error Code 0x80070035

    i followed these steps, but no matter what, i couldnt stop network list services.

    "windows could not stop the network list service on local computer. error 1061: the service cannot accept control messages at this time".

    also, which pc am i meant to be running this fix on? both PC's reported error 1061.

    Error: Windows cannot access \\PC-Name, you do not have permission to access this pc. Contact your network administrator to request access, while trying to access one PC from another over network

    I understand that you are facing issues while accessing one PC from another PC over the network. For further clarity on the issue, please respond to the questions below.



    1. Are the entire PC’s running Windows 10 1809 build version?
    2. Have you tried accessing the PC using IP address of the PC?
    3. Are the PC’s connected to domain network?


    I certainly appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue by performing certain troubleshooting steps.



    However, I would suggest you to refer the suggestions by

    Roohi_Taj     replied on January 8, 2019 and see if that helps.
