Windows 10: One program steels view ?

I use QuiteRSS for my news reader and many times I like to open a post in "external" browser in my case Chrome. On 3 machines, QuiteRSS stays on top with Chrome behind it. Just set up a new machine where Chrome opens over QuiteRSS. Is there a setting to change this view? This puter came with Home and I upgraded to Pro so Home/Pro doesn't seem to make a difference.

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

I suggest you to try the below and check if helps.

Steps:

• Right click on Start button from desktop and select
  Programs and Features.
• Click on View installed updates to find if any installed.
• If there are no programs installed then you will see: No programs are installed on this computer in the window.

setting default view for Winodws Explorer Search Reasults

Thank you for the detailed response. To change the search result's view from content to list, we suggest following the steps below:

• Open the File Explorer and try to search for files.
• In the toolbar, open the View tab and click List
  to change the view.
• Once changed, close the File Explorer.
• Open the File Explorer again and try to search to see if the setting has been retained.
