Windows 10: one website won't process my name+password from my PC, but it will when I login from other PCs

I have one website that won't process my name+password, but it will when I login from other PCs, and it will from my iPhone app. Instead, after submitting name+password from my PC it says it's waiting for authorization from the target domain. I've tried deleting cookies, etc, then restarting PC. Same results using Edge, Chrome and Firefox browsers. This happened a few months ago with another target website. Now I know that the problem is with my PC, not the websites.

No login password craziness

Brink, that was the missing step. What threw me off was in netplwiz, where it asks about password for my MS account, the user name was not the same as my MS account name. Once I entered the password (twice) I can now login without entering a password. In fact the name that was listed was not the MS account name, but a folder name. The folder is the one that shows when you click on C:\Users.

1. What is the error message you receive when you try to login to the PC?
   
2. Are you aware of any changes made to the PC prior to which you weren’t facing this issue?
   
3. Are you using a local account or a Microsoft account to login to the PC?
   

If you are using a Microsoft account then I would suggest you to try resetting the password of the PC and see if you are able to login. Refer the article

Note: The article talks about resetting the PC. It is not advised to reset the PC if you don’t have the backup of the data.



You can also try booting the PC into safe mode and see if you are able to login. Refer the article

Password issue

After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???
