One Windows 10 User account takes much longer to load

So in my pc I have 2 accounts. For some reason account A loads really fast, like it takes 30 seconds, whereas account B takes about 2-3 minutes to load. In case you're confused I'm reffering to the accounts you see when you turn on the computer, you know where you have to type your pin to enter. Account B doesn't have many programs or files, so that's not the problem. I have no idea what to do please help.

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown One Windows 10 User account takes much longer to load :(

Incorrect user account used after loading windows 10

    Hi Katie,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

Please share the below information to help you better.

    • When you say "(Conner) was used as the primary account or administrator"
after loading windows 10, is that Microsoft account or Local account?

Note: It is not recommended to delete the administrator account in Windows. If you want to delete the administrator account, you need to have at least one administrator account in Windows.

Kindly follow the below steps carefully to delete the admin account.

    Step 1:

First try to create one new Local user account in Windows 10.

Refer the below link to create the new Local user account.

Create a local user account in Windows 10

Create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10

    Step 2:

After creating the local user account, follow the below steps to assign the local user account as admin.

    • Login to the computer using your Microsoft admin account.

    • Press Windows + I keys on the keyboard to open Settings menu.

    • Click on Accounts in settings window.

    • Click on family and other users.

    • Click on new user account you created under
Add someone else to this PC.

    • Click change account type.

    • Change the user type to
      Admin
      from Standard.

    Step 3:

    • Login through the new user account you have created.

    • Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard, select the
      control panel.

    • Click on User accounts.

    • Click on Manage other account.

    • Enter the password for the administrator account if prompted.

    • Click on the account which you want to delete (Microsoft admin account).

    • Click on Delete the account.

    • Click on Delete the files.

Now the administrator account will be deleted (Microsoft admin account). You may try to login through Local user you have created.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.
