  1. OneDrive, accidentally subscribed twice

I was upgrading / renewing my onedrive subscription, but after i entered my credit card information and it said i was approved. Yet when I went to look at my files and check in on the onedrive app, it still said i was over my storage and not registered/subscribed for more space. So I went and re-entered my credit card over again, only to have the same issue happen. I restarted my computer, and vola! It was suddenly registering I had the new space and was subscribed properly, however when i went to look at my pending transactions as i currently do not have a credit card, i had to use a visa gi

  2. Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

    OneDrive seven times (twice)

I've never been fond of OneDrive and always disabled/uninstalled it the best I could before (never a simple task, you know).

After a lot of problems, a few months ago I reinstalled Windows 10 and decided to keep OneDrive untouched, except for some of its basic settings.

But seeking information on recent issues, I ran Autoruns and found that OneDrive appears seven times (twice) on the Everything list.

Why is that so? Is it any sort of problem? What should I do about it? TIA.

OneDrive - Bait and switch (but to what?)

Yea, they just stopped giving unlimited space to Office subscribers as well. I use google drive, dropbox and I do use onedrive, but nothing major in onedrive. I read something about Amazon has that's not bad and is fairly cheap. It's called "Amazon Glacier". It's $0.007 per gigabyte per month, but it's not like google drive or onedrive. You upload your files and hours later you can get access to it. So, for backups it's not a bad solution, but if you need access to the files regularly then it wouldn't be.
