  1. OneDrive - all files up to date - all folders show 'syncing' icon

    Hi, I've got a new laptop and I'm facing the following issue with OneDrive: all my files seem to have synced with OneDrive and show the 'up to date' green check icon.However, all folders and subfolders show the double arrowed blue syncing icon.I've tried the solutions mentioned in: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/troubleshoot/sync/folders-incorrectly-show-status-syncingHowever, the situation remains the same or returns to the same state. When I stop the Windows Search service, the folder icons return to the correct 'up to date' icons. However, when I start the Search service

    OneDrive - all files up to date (green check icon), but all folders showing the 'syncing' icon (double blue arrow)

    I have a new laptop, and the main issue I'm facing, is that OneDrive shows all files as 'up to date', but all folders as 'syncing'.

    I have followed the steps in OneDrive files or folders incorrectly show as syncing - SharePoint:

    - stopping and disabling the Windows Search service

    => icons show up correctly

    - then rebuilding the index

    => folder icons are immediately wrong

    I've unlinked OneDrive and and re-added the account - I even delete all files locally. But the system always returns to the same state: all files showing 'up to date', all folders showing 'syncing'.

    • Right-click the cloud icon and click Exit.

    OneDrive - all files up to date - all folders show 'syncing' icon ba8fdc81-db72-4c94-8e59-1e1f75021b30.png

    By doing this, OneDrive will stop syncing and restarts after opening the OneDrive app. If the files are still continuously syncing, please respond back so we can provide additional steps.

    We will wait for an update.
