Windows 10: Onedrive and its myriads of poorly executed junk basically!

YOU Microsoft need to be removed from society, as does Facebook, Tiktok all of it.This Onedrive you produced is **** ****. It annoys the living **** out of me. The syncing on Onedrive is non existant, I have photos and files all over the **** place and it is YOUR FAULT Microsoft.You are a **** company, that offer **** software and you are a con, a massive con.Where is the competitor to these pirates, why has IBM not come out with a proper software solution for the civilian market, why is their just no competitor to this bloody awful software company.But it is the Onedrive that is s

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

I appreciate all the help with this, but some are forgetting that Onedrive for Business is totally different than the basic consumer Onedrive.

I would if it were more mainstream and supported all my CAD software.

 

OneDrive missing after Windows 10 upgrade

Follow these steps:

1. Open %localappdata% (C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local) then go to Microsoft\OneDrive\Update
   
2. Execute OneDriveSetup.exe
   
3. Wait until the installer successfully installs OneDrive. If you ever used OneDrive on your computer, it will log in, appear in system tray and start syncing automatically.
