Windows 10: OneDrive and Teams

I uninstalled OneDrive and deleted the folder from my user directory. It did not warn me that all of my personal folders had been migrated into the OneDrive directory. Unrecoverable. Congratulations, like Anakin Skywalker, OneDrive caused precisely what it was intended to prevent. I had to manually fix the registry directories for all my personal files.My question is: I want to completely remove OneDrive and Teams from the OS. How do I do this? How do I make the Start menu go back to normal?Also, it would be really great if Windows would stop automatically culling my data without giving me the

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

 

New Teams

Hi,

With regard to your concern, you can add a new team on Cortana by following the steps below:

• Click Cortana or the circle icon.
• Click the Notebook icon, scroll down and click Sports.
• Click Add a team and start typing the name of a team.
• Select the results.

Note: If the the team does not show up in the list you cannot add it to the Notebook. We suggest that you send a feedback using Windows Feedback hub so we can take note of this feature for future updates.
