  1. OneDrive automatically downloading all of my photos whenever I open iTunes for Windows app

Whenever I open the iTunes for Windows app on my PC, Windows notifies me that iTunes is downloading files from my OneDrive account. Specifically, I have OneDrive set to store my photos in the cloud exclusively, with no copy on my hard drive. However, iTunes is prompting OneDrive to download copies of all of the files in my "photos" folder onto my hard drive. To be clear, these photos were not imported into my iTunes library, which means iTunes has no need to have them stored locally or reason to access them. This happens automatically. Windows does not prompt me to grant iTunes permission.

  2. Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.
