Windows 10: OneDrive Broken yet again

Hi, I have recently done a clean install of windows 11, amongst other things because onedrive is being a right pain. Since the reinstall it is beyond slow. Something has changed recently. There used to be a version of onedrive installed and you could download onedrive for business. Apparently these are one and the same now. Does that matter I am not sure.What I do know is that when I pull it up, its syncing one file at a time, only one file shows in the window even though it knows it has 127 to do, these files are a few meg at most. Its taking hours and hours. My network is fine, other downloa

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

 

OneDrive - Personal Explorer link broken

While troubleshooting a "Can't enable files on demand" issue on W2022 server which I pretty much have given up on, I realised I broke the OneDrive link to the OneDrive folder. Basically, as seen in the picture, if I click on it it doesn't show the actual contents, moreover if I try to do anything I get the beatiful attached message. The usual troubleshooting steps didn't help: - Uninstall (this makes the icon go away) - Clean AppData and ProgramData Folders - Check registry - Install and link account (this makes the icon come back, with the broken link) Is this something that someone has seen or knows how to correct the link between the icon and the actual Onedrive target folder? This is on Server 2022.
