Windows 10: OneDrive & Computer Administrator Problems

When I got my laptop I turned off one drive. Then after a year or so I go to find an essay I wrote for grad school and isn't in the folder for the class. I realized OneDrive had turned itself back on and the file was on OneDrive. I once again turned OneDrive off. Then about another year goes by and I realize OneDrive is turned back on. I turned it off again and this time it erased everything on my desktop and removed a bunch of my files. I finally got my desktop back and my files back, however, now when I create a document I cannot save it to my desktop. I researched online how to fix i

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

enable the built-in administrator account on Windows 10 by running a command in an elevated command prompt. In order to do so, kindly follow these steps:

• Open Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
• Accept the User Account Control prompt.
• Enter this command to enable the hidden administrator account:
  net user administrator /active:yes
