Windows 10: Onedrive documents syncing with my sons

How do I stop my files on onedrive displaying in my sons onedrive account? I have created 3 accounts, one for each of my boys and then mine. Only one of them has full access to my files, I have already checked for syncing and sharing on my account and I am not sharing with anyone. I reset his whole laptop and signed in to Microsoft using his details but the files are still mine, and I have his desktop folders showing up in my files. How do I fix this?

Change Documents Shortcut

It is possible because I just did it a week ago.

I don't remember the exact steps and can't verify this since I stopped all syncs with OneDrive and uninstalled it when done.

I got the same error when I tried to move the Documents folder from OneDrive
I went into the OneDrive Settings, then Backup > Manage backup.
I unchecked the selection for the Documents folder.
Once I did that I was able to move the Documents folder from OneDrive

This is the only way I know to do it. I suggest you only keep things in the Documents folder you don't want synced with OneDrive. For files currently in OneDrive\Documents that you still want to sync with OneDrive, create a new folder and move them there. Then just add this folder to the ones synced by OneDrive

 

Onedrive Sync with "User/Documents"

I am using OneDrive to sync documents. I linked the Documents folder to OneDrive and it is synced. The problem is that many applications are using the folder "User/Documents", so the data of them is synced to OneDrive too. But I don't want to sync them.
How to deal with this problem?

And I am also using OneNote. OneNote files are all in folder Documents. If I unlink "User/Documents" to OneDrive, will the OneNote stop sync?
