Windows 10: Onedrive downloading very slow, or at 0.00KB/s

Hi All, installed windows 10 on a new hard drive and had to re-download my files from Onedrive.

Roughly 160gb worth, it has been downloading a week and has only hit 24gb. Sometimes I see the download speed at 0.00KB/s, which is what it is currently at. Clearly I have internet since I am typing.

Anyone have ideas??

How best to sync a USB flash/thumb drive with folder on my laptop?

Highly configurable and very light weight.

Takes some getting used to, so be careful at first... maybe experiment on a folder. I use newest file updates older files. Sort of back up OneDrive to a router attached SSD so I don't need to fiddle around nor download onedrive on my slow 15mb/s dsl every
time I install windows fresh, plus it updates when I dual boot insider with same one drive... my wifi drive is much faster than dsl .. 450mbit/s.. sometimes I wonder why I need OneDrive.

 

Slow Internet Speed

Since I upgraded to Win 10 my download speed decreased from 600kb/s to 145kb/s. The Internet connection is very slow too.

 

Make sure other people on your network aren't maximizing its Upload/Download limit.

Assuming so, do a test and trial. See if you can have everyone on your network turn off their network connectivity, and see if your download speed increases for a reasonable period of time.

 

I noticed mine doing the same thing today, On one computer I put a 1gig file on onedrive this morning which should of taken maybe 30 mins and it's still going right now it says 50 b/s then goes to about 1 or 200 then down to zero.

At this rate it will probably take years. I stopped sharing that folder for now. I will probably see if one of my other computers can do it faster tomorrow.

I think I will probably have to zip the file it's like over 3000 separate files but I really did not want to compress them. and before anyone tells me that transferring 3000 files slows down the transfer due to finishing one file then taking a 1 second or so to start the next one I know already I do this all the time and it's never been this slow.
