Windows 10: Onedrive errors in Windows 11 after I changed profile username

I tend to be very wordy with my descriptions, so this first paragraph just below, is my summarized question. The four paragraphs after that are the context the situation, so here goes:What is the best way to uninstall and/or bypass OneDrive in Windows 11? So that no matter what I open, i.e. folders such as Documents, Pictures, Recycle Bin, etc. it will stop giving me the OneDrive "Location is not available" error. Because that didn't happen until after I renamed my user profile name in Windows 11.And now here's the context of my situation:I just bought a new laptop that has Windows 11 Home o

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

Are you logged in with the Microsoft account or a local account?

You can follow the steps below to change the username and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + X key.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Under view, select large icons.
• Go to User Account.
• Click on Manage another account.
• Select the User Account for which you want to select the password.
• Click on Change the username.
• Click on Change Name button.

Incomplete Username Change and Update on OneDrive.

When I login first time my account on Windows 10, I accidently set my username and user folder as "arsla" and it got updated even on OneDrive. Now whenever i have to install windows in my new device, My username always set as "arsla".





I changed my username with cmd and control panel and even changed in the registry too and link it to my OneDrive again but every time my OneDrive set as Personal account. How can i change my username and user folder from "arsla" to "Arslan" without being my OneDrive as Personal? Please Help me to change username and user folder name.
