Windows 10: OneDrive files deleted offline will not show in recycle bin... are they permanently deleted?

Dear Everyone, I have a huge issue with OneDrive that puzzled me pretty hard, and it looks like this:I was looking to clear some space in my PC by sorting and deleting old files, unused programs and so on, until I reached the OneDrive folder that was linked to my Desktop and maybe to other document paths as well. I deleted all of them, thinking that it was only some mirror or something similar to what I had on my actual Desktop folder, but it was a huge surprise to discover that "my actual Desktop" was truly embedded in the OneDrive and not on the usual local path in my PC/SSD. Can some one tell me how to permanently delete files that i delete from the recycle bin.?

Where did you delete the file from?

Removable drives, such as USB flash drives and memory cards, will not have a Recycle Bin. Files deleted from removable drives are permanently deleted.

When I delete a file, my only option is permanently deleting. I went into the Recycle Bin settings, and it is not set to permanently delete files.
