Windows 10: OneDrive: Finish installing update

I keep getting a notification which says that OneDrive needs my permission to finish installing an update. How do I give it said permission?

Error code 80073cf6 on Windows Phone 8.1

This seems to be a problem with the OneDrive update, version 17.15.6, to 8.1 phones.

I have three phones that won't finish the update. Getting the same error plus 80073cf9.

a 1520 on OS 8.10.14234.375

a 630 on OS 8.10.14234.375

a 830 on OS 8.10.15148.160

All are current with phone updates. All apps update with the exception of OneDrive. I have power cycled, soft reset, used carrier data to download, used WiFi from the 1520 to update the 630 and 830. All download the 6MB update but fail on install.

The current OneDrive version is 4.16.0 on the 830 and 630 and OneDrive app will open.

The OneDrive app will not open on the 1520.

Many others are having the same problem. I think MS has work to do on the update.

It could be that OneDrive is not yet finished setting up. If you're signed into Windows 10 with a Microsoft account, we suggest that you check if OneDrive is set up completely. Here's how to finish setting up OneDrive:

• Open File Explorer.
• Click the OneDrive folder. In the Finish setting up OneDrive, select the files and folders you want to sync to this computer.
