    Onedrive folder confused with Documents folder - System is wrong


    Hey Team,So basically i got a new pc and put in my old SSD drive with windows, i reinstalled windows and wiped it and logged in and set everything up, all was good until onedrive which i absolutely do not like using automatically logged in and starting syncing my systemNow its created its own folder with my videos, documents, and everything in , while i also have a videos, pictures, and documents folder in the normal windows file structure, and my system is confused which is which and saving everything in the one drive versionI tried removing it manually but i get file errors and permission er

    Why I have TWO Documents folders?

    ok so lemme start off my saying i recently wiped my system and installed windows 10
    and i noticed even more recently that i seem to have TWO documents folders...
    i have one that has nothing that it should in it and the other somehow is linked to Onedrive...
    the onedrive linked one has everything that the non onedrive should. (game saves, etc)
    my question is...why? is this normal cause i can't imagine it is...
    i don't think steam game save cloud will work with onedrive so i need to know, is this fixable WITHOUT another wipe? i have no idea how my onedrive got synced with my documents folder. i didn't set it up that way. any help is appreciated!

    Wrong Documents folder

    Is there a separate Documents folder showing when you scroll the File Explorer up? Below is a screenshot of how it should look like.

    If there is a Document folder showing and it points to OneDrive, we suggest you perform the following:

    • Right-click on the Documents folder, and select Properties.
    • Go to Location tab.
    • Change the location where files in that folder are stored by removing the
      \OneDrive      .

    Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks for the suggestion but it says "delete folder failed for E:\....." for each folder I try.
