OneDrive for Android - Camera Upload Gets All Photos?

Hi all, I have OneDrive for Android and 365. I have just switched to Camera Upload https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/automatically-save-photos-and-videos-with-onedrive-for-android-66605e54-48b8-4f55-bcff-34159702e344 so my camera roll is now going to OneDrive. I am seeing new photos in my OneDrive folders on Windows 10, all is well.

I have a question about previous photos. If I go to Google Takeout https://takeout.google.com/settings/takeout and download my photos from Google where they have been previously stored for years, I have about 638GB of photos to download. By switching my Android to OneDrive for my photos, is it slowly moving all of those photos to OneDrive?

Or, do I need to download all of them from Takeout and manually move them to OneDrive in order to see everything I've ever captured with my phones over the years? The goal is all of my photos in OneDrive on Windows 10.

    Thanks!

    :)

  3. Windows phone photos not uploading to onedrive

It is best that you update your Lumia to make sure that the phone is running the latest software or fixes. Make sure also that the app is up-to-date by checking the Store. You can disable the camera upload in OneDrive app settings by going to
    OneDrive app > Menu > Settings >
Camera upload. Then, go to the
    OneDrive website
and rename your Camera Roll folder. Lastly, enable camera upload. This starts a re-upload of all camera roll pictures from your mobile device into the cloud. Please make sure that the connection is strong
    before completing these steps.

Once you upload the photos to your OneDrive, it will be labelled correctly based on the date and time or information on each photos.

    Feel free to ask.

OneDrive for Android - Camera Upload Gets All Photos?

    Photo upload

Usually a digital camera will show up as a Drive in File Explorer, open that drive one of the folders with pictures on it from the camera, sometimes on a MicroSD too. Basically it's not recognizing the camera at all in file explorer ? How is it being hooked up, USB ? Camera App in Windows 10, i never used it, in All apps in start screen. List the model Samsung you have.
