Windows 10: Onedrive - HELP!

I was talked into backing up all of my files including pictures on OneDrive. That has created a horrible mess. I went to the Geek Squad for assistance... now I am in an even more confusing state! Many of my pictures could not be opened - either in OneDrive OR from my desktop files!! Geek squad found pictures - had to copy them back to my PC via zip files . I am missing some, but not all of my other "document" files. I also cannot backup my documents on my PC onto an external hard drive. When I try I get an error message stating OneDrive is the issue. I wish I could find a reputable,

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

1. Login to OneDrive.com.
2. Click the ? Help icon on the top banner of the page.
3. Select Email OneDrive support for the further assistance.
