Windows 10: Onedrive I/O Error

So I work remotely and after the most recent update I cannot copy essential documents to my work's Onedrive. I can sometimes get through, but most of the time it gives me an I/O error has occurred error message. I have tried so many guides and troubleshooting to address this I/O error with not consistent success. Any help in this mater would be greatly appreciated.

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

An I/O Device error can occur with different types of hardware devices or media, such as external hard drives, SD cards, SSD, USB flash drives or pen drives. For us to isolate the issue, we suggest that you run the hardware and devices troubleshooter by
following these steps:

• Open the Settings app.
• Type Troubleshooting on the search box.
• Click on Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View all.
• Select Hardware and Devices.
• Click on Next button and follow the on screen guide.
• Restart your computer and check if the issue persists.
