Windows 10: ONEDRIVE is disabled, but WORD files still syncing between 2 laptops using same MS account...

any idea on how to stop this?

Sync files in OneDrive from one laptop to another laptop

We understand that you want to sync files in OneDrive from old laptop to a new laptop. Since you have already signed in to the OneDrive app, I suggest you to refer the section
If you already have an account signed in to OneDrive in the article

Sync files with the OneDrive sync client in Windows.



If the issue persists, I suggest you to get in touch with the OneDrive support team. Follow the below steps to contact the OneDrive support team.



Sign in to OneDrive.com from any browser, click the ‘?’ help icon on the top banner of the page and select
Email OneDrive support. Submit your question and follow the prompts to request support.

Syncing OneDrive account on 2 PCs

Hi,

I am using Office 365 subscription on my Laptop and syncing all files via onedrive. I want to setup a PC at my office and want to use same account on that PC too. Would I be able to sync onedrive files between my laptop and PC.

For ex: I have saved Folder A at desktop in my laptop which is uploaded automatically to OneDrive. When I use my PC would I be able to see the Folder A on desktop in my PC as both the systems are using same Microsoft account and syncing desktop. In other words, can I access my files/folders on PC, which I left on my laptop.

 

Disable OneDrive


I thought I had made this clear already:

• I use the same MS account on each W10TP machine, real or virtual
• All W10TP machines are single boot
• The location of OneDrive folder on each machine is exactly the same, on real machines E:\Users\\OneDrive, on virtual machines C:\Users\\OneDrive
• Location of OneDrive folder is irrelevant having nothing to do with this issue
• Sync enabled or disabled is irrelevant having nothing to do with this issue
• Issue can be reproduced for 100% sure in all my installations whatever folder location or sync settings have been used simply by killing the Explorer.exe process and relaunching it which will automatically present the OneDrive first run splash screen

I cannot make this any clearer.
