Windows 10: OneDrive - I've shared a folder, but new files added are Private

I shared the folder by individually selecting 20 contacts and sending them the link. There was 1 file in the folder that is also shared. When I add a new file to the shared folder it shows it's setting as Private, while the first file shows Shared.Is that new file not available to the other members because it shows Private? How do I change the newly added file to Shared?How can I ensure new files added to a shared folder are automatically shared? Or do I have to go through the process of individually selecting the 20 members and resending a link?Thanks for your help!

OneDrive Shared Folder not Sharing Files

I created a View-Only Shared OneDrive Folder with another person.

I have confirmed that this folder is visible on their OneDrive Account and was downloaded onto all their devices.

I then added files to the Folder, but the files themselves have not been shared. The files are visible in my account, on all my devices, but on their side, the Folder remains empty.

Did I miss a step?

P.S. - both of us are running Win10Pro with all the updates installed.

I went to the Folder and opened the Sharing Manager.

I found two links - one which for full access and one for read-only.

I deleted bother links and made the Folder private.

Then I recreated the view-only link as the only link and resent it. Once loaded, it seems to be working just fine.

However, on further investigation, not all the files are being shared. Additionally, files added don't transfer to the other party.

All the files are being uploaded on my side, but not being shared to the other party's OneDrive.

OneDrive is very location sensitive . . .

If you move a shared folder, OneDrive will just see that the folder no longer exists in its original location and not know that it has been moved, you would need to re-share the folder in its new location

It is like, if say, you have a Word document in your Documents folder saved from Word, that is then added to the Recent File list in Word, if you close Word and move that file in File Explorer, then try to open it from the Word recent file list, Word will tell
you the file no longer exists, because it does not know you have moved the file outside of Word . . .
