Windows 10: OneDrive message 'ODB temporarily unavailable'

Hi, I had no broadband for a week after moving house and I was using my computer offline. OneDrive was working perfectly before the move and when offline the cloud icon in the notifications area of the task bar continually showed the circular arrows showing it was trying to sync.When I was back online OneDrive came up with the message "can't reach this library due to a service issue". Following the advice in this community I reset OneDrive, which only served to make it worse. It came up with the message "ODB currently unavailable. Check your network connection and try again later". I have sear

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

 

Map ODB to existing user folders

ODB sets up its own folder under User. In my ODB I have set up the folder names for the usual folders that are under the User - Documents, Download, Pictures, etc. That's where I keep my data, mirrored in the cloud. It means the usual folders under User
are empty.

It looks redundant in File Explorer. Is there a way for ODB Documents to equal User Documents, etc?
