Windows 10: Onedrive no longer allows us to upload filenames with the .tib extention

Hello really need some help here. We use OneDrive to store device images on them. The extension normally is .tib and currently it keeps saying during an upload that it's a unsupported filetype. I need to understand how to work with this and using the website is really not a great option.

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

 

OneDrive won't upload "desktop.ini" -- but which one?

"desktop.ini files are not processed by Onedrive. This is one of the invalid file names for Onedrive. "

If these files are not processed by OneDrive, then why is OneDrive complaining?

And why does OneDrive suggest that I change the filename of a system file? Wouldn't that be a problem?

 

What is the extent of OneDrive capabilities?


Would like to dig and get some information from us users. My thought is.... OneDrive and the extent of users capabilities, can I acces it as a Remote Desktop from my phone if the ar both active and connected to a online Internet? Can I pretty much use them as 2 different devices at two different locations working as one double use PC? Is there an option where if my PC OS crashes or needs to Example: Restore earlier restore point and I cannot effectively use the PC as I wish. Could I go into OneDrive from my active mobile device and execute the desired actions I'm wanting to achieve? If not.... This should be in the works! Being away from your PC and wanting to run a lengthy and time consuming full scan of all drive, downloading some utilities you want to tinker with or a new software or even a gam you aren't able to be at your PC to download when it is released. Very curious about what all OneDrive has to offer and enjoy everyone's threads regarding my own. Thanks in advance for tips, suggestions and information on my questions!
