Windows 10: OneDrive not starting automatically after restart

I am on Windows 11. Just recently, OneDrive does not start up automatically after a restart. Something keeps turning off the Enable feature in Task Manager Startup. I have gone into OneDrive – Personal Settings, and the “Start OneDrive automatically when I sign in to Windows” is checked. And it seems to be random or unpredictable. A single restart might be fine. A second restart will not start up OneDrive. When I check Task Manager Startup, OneDrive is no longer enabled. Also, the problem is occurring on two separate HP laptops using the sa

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

As you have already checked the option Start OneDrive Automatically, I would suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below and see if that helps:

1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc, to open
   Task Manager.
   
2. Click on Startup tab, and look for
   Microsoft OneDrive.
   
3. Click on it and select Enable.

OneDrive not starting automatically when Windows starts

I have a new install of Windows 10, fully updated. My issue is that OneDrive is no longer automatically starting when Windows starts.

I have tried selecting the setting in OneDrive, "Start OneDrive automatically when I sign in to Windows" but it eventually resets itself to unselected. OneDrive appears in the list of Startup apps after I select this option but eventually disappears from
the list.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling OneDrive, but this hasn't fixed it.

This issue did not exist before the most recent Windows 10 update.
