    Onedrive notification can't be dismissed in Windows Security settings


    Hello,As you can see in the image, I am unable to press the dismiss button to remove the popup and the notification in the task bar.Onedrive notification can't be dismissed in Windows Security settings.I would like to know if Microsoft has a plan to allow us to remove the notification to setup one drive in the Windows Security center without using a registry change which would also affect other types of notifications in the Windows Security center.Thank you.

    How to dismiss OneDrive notification in Windows Defender Security Centre?

    For a few days now the icon for Windows Defender in the bottom right of my taskbar shows a yellow warning sign ⚠️ (which usually popped up when any problems were detected). When clicking on it, it just shows a message that wants me to set up OneDrive. But I do not want to get a OneDrive account.

    There is an option to dismiss this message, but whenever I boot my computer, it is there again. Is there a way to completely dismiss this message, such that the warning sign only pops up again if there are actual problems?

    I fear that I end up ignoring the warning sign and missing the moment when there is an actual problem.

    Windows 10 - OneDrive

    Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

    If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

    onedrive dismiss not working

    In either of the two spots to dismiss onedrive neither responds to dismiss. I do not want Onedrive involved with my files but it won't take no for an answer when I click the dismiss button.
    Is yours acting the same way?
