Windows 10: Onedrive notification of sync trouble

Does Onedrive have a notification when it is having sync problems? Example - after x days of inability to sync a notification appears.Several colleagues have had significant issues because Onedrive didn't sync for several weeks. Large loss of time on projects due to this.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

 

Sync OneDrive

Hello,

We understand that you're having issues with your OneDrive app on your tablet. Can you let us know if you have other OneDrive account on a different device? To resolve the issue regarding the slow response of the OneDrive app, we suggest that you restart
the OneDrive desktop sync app. Here's how:

• Right-click the white OneDrive cloud icon in the notification area, at the far right of the taskbar. (You might need to click the
  Show hidden icons arrow
  
  next to the notification area to see the
  OneDrive icon. If the icon doesn't appear in the notification area, OneDrive might not be running. Click
  Start, type OneDrive in the search box, and then click
  OneDrive in the search results.)
  
• Click Exit.
• Go to Start, type OneDrive in the search box, and then click
  OneDrive.

If the issue persists, try uninstalling the OneDrive app on your tablet and install it back. You can also check for any pending updates that may cause this issue.

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.
