Windows 10: OneDrive Re-Installation Issues

My OneDrive app running in Windows 10 is used for syncing both private OneDrive folders as well as business account OneDrive folders. I have been experiencing syncing issues and decided to reinstall the app.But the application will not uninstall!! When I click unistall in Add / Remove Programs, it looks like it starts the uninstallation process but the app is still there and I cannot get rid of it. When I try new installation, I get an error message that I cannot install the app before I uninstall the previous which I cannot do. So I am stuck in this vicious circle - any ideas how to proceed

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

• What are the other application are you trying to install?
• Did you uninstall OneDrive? If yes, please elaborate the steps.

As you said you are trying to re-install OneDrive, I would like to inform you that you cannot uninstall/reinstall the OneDrive which come in-build with the Operating system. However, you have to configure your email account to access OneDrive.

Let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and check if this helps in resolving the issue. I suggest you to unregister and re-register the Windows installer and check if this helps.

  Even if you do this correctly, it may look like nothing occurs.

  Even if you do this correctly, it may look like nothing occurs, or you may briefly see an hourglass. After you run this command, the operation is complete.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
