  1. OneDrive recent app activity on a more or less daily basis, even though I don't have it...

I just went through my privacy settings due to some concerns, and found out that there is reported activity for almost every day for the past year.I do not have OneDrive installed on my connected device. In fact, I have removed it completely through powershell and services, after installing Windows. And I do not update Windows, only the security updates through command prompt.Does anyone know what this activity might be and if there's a way of turning it off? I'm not asking about the deletion of previous data - I would like to prevent further similar activities. It's creeping me out a bit, s

  2. Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

  3. Windows 10 Pro Reactivation on Daily Basis

I have a problem with my PC requiring reactivation on a daily basis. The activation error is 0xC004F050 which suggests that I have changed the motherboard but that is not the case. I can reactivate the Windows 10 Pro account with the Troubleshooter or
by re-entering the Product Key or by using the online activation, etc., but the activation error returns the next day. I purchased an OEM version of Windows 10 Pro 64 last May 2018 for a new home built PC and it worked fine until about a month ago. I updated
the motherboard BIOS and some drivers and the Intel Management Engine but have not changed any hardware except for swapping monitors. I prefer not to reinstall Windows if I don't have to.

What can I do to fix this daily reactivation routine?

OneDrive recent app activity on a more or less daily basis, even though I don't have it...

Recent shortcuts for apps show files on OneDrive instead of local hard drive

I was able to follow the steps and uncheck the "Use Office apps to sync" box but it didn't change Office's behavior. I opened and closed an Excel spreadsheet on my local hard drive. After that, when I right-clicked on the Excel icon pinned to the taskbar, a link to the OneDrive cloud file was in the list of recent files instead of a link to the file on my hard drive.

Do you have any other suggestions?

    Thanks!

  10. More or less daily unexpected restarts

    in Windows 10 Support
More or less daily unexpected restarts: It seems to be a more or less daily occurrence. My computer will close and restart without warning. This seems to have no effect elsewhere. Anything router-wise is as was. May be my bad memory, but I can't think why this happens. Has anyone ideas about this, please? 47054
