  3. can't save to onedrive desktop in 8.1 - do not have permission message

    Hi

I suddenly am not allowed to save to my onedrive desktop function - my computer keeps telling me I don not have permission and to seek permission from the administrator - do I want to save in my documents instead? (I am the admin). I can save to my doc or
desktop on C drive and then it lets me drag and drop into onedrive and it sycs fine. It's taking a huge amount of my time to savee in one place and then have to re-file at the end of the day to esure all my data is backed up.

On another note, my onedrive preoperties keep reverting back to 'read only' no matter how many times I untick and apply. Does this have anything to do with it?

Please help - I'm going crazy!!

  4. Onedrive saves docs w/o my permission

    Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.
