    OneDrive slowing down my PC


    Greetings,

    After scanning with avast I got results about programs slowing down my PC:

    I did everything that I've found around internet - uninstall, remove, switch off - all the methods of disabling OneDrive, but still - at the end avast says again that it's slowing down my PC.

    Why is this feature made so stubborn to avoid or remove from the system if one is not using it??

    I want to get rid of it for good!

    How can I do that??

    Windows 10 - OneDrive

    Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

    If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

    PC slow and not responding

    Hi,

    To assist you with your concern, we suggest you to run the System Maintenance Troubleshooter to check and see why your PC is running slow and unresponsive. Here are the steps:

    • Press Windows Key + X.
    • Click on Control Panel.
    • Select Troubleshooting. If you cant find the option, click View By and select Large Icons.
    • On the left pane, click on View All.
    • Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.
