Hi. I'm a Windows 10 and OneDrive 100GB user. I decided to purchase monthly subscription for 100GB of OneDrive storage and it expired on May 16th 2022. Today, May 19th 2022, I paid for a new subscription but after receiving the purchase is successful, OneDrive still says: "You're over your storage limit" with an exclamation mark on both Windows 10 and Android and I still have only 5GB of free storage. How do I make OneDrive to renew its storage to 100GB? Thanks in advance for any help.

    :)

OneDrive shows 5GB storage instead of 1TB

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you see 5GB storage for OneDrive instead of 1TB.

Ideally, the default storage of OneDrive for a Microsoft account is 5 GB. As you have upgraded to 1TB storage, I would suggest you to make sure that you are signing in with the same Microsoft account through which you have upgraded the storage.

You can also check the storage in OneDrive website. Sign in to
    https://onedrive.live.com
from any browser, on the bottom left corner, you will see the Storage for your account.

    For additional information, see
OneDrive storage plan and billing questions
    .

However, let me help to point you in the right direction for support related to OneDrive issues. We do have dedicated support team for OneDrive and you can get in touch with them for further assistance. Follow the below steps to contact the OneDrive
    support team.

Sign in to OneDrive.com from any browser or Open OneDrive App, click the ‘?’ help icon on the top banner of the page and select
Email OneDrive support. Submit your question and follow the prompts to request support.

Would you pay monthly for a Google Notebook?

According to Neowin Google might be allowing you to pay monthly for a chrome notebook, this includes hardware upgrades etc.

    http://www.neowin.net/news/exclusiv...be-released-junejuly-subscription-based-sales

What i want to know is would anyone at TPU be willing to pay for a notebook on a monthly contract?

Currently paying for a notebook monthly is only possible along with a mobile phone contract and leaves you with a low spec laptop after paying a lot of money, but $10-$20 a month for a laptop which will be replaced if broken for the length of the contract and upgraded to the latest hardware sounds like a really good deal.

this means that for the price of a netbook every 2-3 years you can get a laptop that will automaticly be upgraded to the latest spec and replaced if it breaks.

    Combining OneDrive's 5Gb for 3 devices into 15Gb

I was wondering why one is restricted to only 5Gb on OneDrive when I have three devices using Windows 10 and would like to have a combined total of 15Gb. If each machine had a different profile then I could have 5Gb per profile. Why am I punished to
only 5Gb when using one profile as this is not much for sharing data among 3 machines. I am currently paying Google 1.99 for 100Gb which I would be willing to pay that also for Onedrive but I think their current pricing is too much.
