Windows 10: OneDrive Sync Icon Missing from Windows 10 Tray

For some reason, OneDrive does not have the green check-marks in Windows Explorer like it usually does and when I edited a Word document, the icon has remained on 'syncing' rather than the green check-mark.


I tried to check the sync and/or connection status of OneDrive, but the OneDrive icon is missing from the system tray, and now I don't know what to do with OneDrive.


Please tell me how I can get the OneDrive icon back on the system tray so that I can check its syncing status.

Onedrive ICON missing Windows 7 and not syncing

RUNNING ON WINDOWS 7 PRO:

I noticed today, my onedrive icon is missing from the task tray. It is also not accessible in the drop down task tray menu. In windows file explorer, the onedrive folder is there but it no longer has the onedrive symbol. When I open the TASK MANAGER
it says Onedrive is a running process. It is also in the STARTUP list. But my PC files are no longer syncing. My account is active and all onedrive files are accessible via internet or iphone app.

does anyone have a fix for this?

 

Onedrive has ceased to sync

Good afternoon

Without warning, Onedrive has ceased to sync. The little ticks have disappeared and the icon is missing from the system tray. If I launch the programme manually nothing happens. I shall of course continue to ferret around but suggestions gratefully received.

 

OneDrive ixon missing from system tray

Desktop PC has been powered off for several months. When it was powered up on Sat. the OneDrive icon was missing from th System tray. Starting OneDrive opens the webpage. Opening OneDrive from File Explorer shows very few files.

I have reinstalled OneDrive from the store twice without any change.

I have tried most of the suggestions in other threads without success. Any others steps I can try?
